How we work
The engagement path
Financial auditing here follows a familiar professional sequence. This page shows what happens between your first call and the signed opinion.
Independence & conflict check
We confirm we have not prepared the books under review, hold no prohibited financial interest, and can staff the engagement without a conflict.
Scoping conversation
Industry, entities, locations, systems, prior auditor status, and the audience for the opinion (bank, board, regulator) shape the hours and fee.
Engagement letter
Responsibilities, timetable, fee, and deliverables are written down. Work does not start until both parties sign.
Planning & materiality
We set materiality, identify significant risks, and request the schedules we need before arriving on site.
Fieldwork
Sampling, confirmations, inventory observation, and inquiry. Your finance contact receives a daily open-items list while we are on site.
Reporting
Draft opinion and management letter for clearance, then final signed documents. We remain available for bank or board questions about the report wording.
Do you work only in Taipei?
Our office is in Tucheng, but fieldwork regularly covers Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, and southern sites when inventory or branches are material.
Can you start mid-year?
Yes. Interim procedures can begin before year-end; first-year transitions need extra opening-balance time.
What if our books are not ready?
We pause fieldwork and revise the timetable and fee once reconciliations catch up. We do not issue an opinion on incomplete records.
Begin with a scoping call
Bring your year-end date and a short company profile. We will tell you honestly if the timetable is realistic.
