Client stories

What stayed with clients after the opinion

These comments come from finance leads who sat through fieldwork, inventory counts, and draft clearance — not from anonymous rating widgets.

“During our statutory audit they insisted on observing the Taichung warehouse even when we argued stock was immaterial. They were right about a slow-moving SKU that inflated assets. The fee felt high until that adjustment landed.”

Jia-Wen Ou · Controller, industrial fasteners distributor

“The internal control review on purchasing exposed that three managers could approve the same vendor invoice in different systems. We fixed the dual-entry problem before our bank review.”

Sora Nakamura · Operations finance, New Taipei logistics firm

“Agreed-upon procedures for our share sale were narrow and exact. The report listed only what we asked for — which is what the buyer’s counsel wanted.”

Helena Wu · Founder, Taipei design studio group

“Switching auditors mid-year was messy. Scale Data’s transition memo spelled out which opening balances they could support and which still needed our prior firm’s help. Communication was clear; the timetable slipped by a week when prior papers arrived late.”

Daniel Berg · CFO, medical device importer

Extended story: year-end audit for a component exporter

A Taoyuan exporter needed audited statements for a revolving credit facility. Books were mostly clean, but related-party sales to a Hong Kong affiliate lacked contemporaneous pricing support.

We extended revenue testing, obtained shipping documents and intercompany reconciliations, and drafted disclosure language for the notes. The opinion was unmodified. The management letter asked for a pricing memo template before the next year-end — a request the board adopted the following quarter.

Constraint worth noting: inventory observation had to finish before Chinese New Year plant closure. Fieldwork was pulled forward by ten days to meet that window.
