Engagement

Internal control review

A focused walk-through of selected financial cycles — cash, purchasing, payroll, or inventory — with written findings for boards and parent companies.

Professional reviewing control documentation in a meeting room

Purpose

Internal control reviews help owners and boards see whether cash handling, purchasing approvals, and payroll changes actually follow the policies written in the handbook. This is not a substitute for a statutory audit; it is a diagnostic engagement with a clear cycle scope.

Included

  • Selection of one or two cycles with you at kickoff
  • Process narratives based on interviews with process owners
  • Sample testing of transactions against stated approvals
  • Written findings with severity ratings and suggested fixes

Excluded

We do not redesign your ERP, implement software, or provide ongoing internal-audit secondments unless contracted separately.

Process

Kickoff and cycle selection → walk-throughs → sample testing → draft memo → management response window → final memo.

Next step

Tell us which cycles concern you and whether findings will be shared with a parent company or lender.
